General Information:

Employment type: Full time / Contract Basis

Location: Malta


Assisting the Group Financial Controller in the day to day management of the Accounting team, you will be responsible for the preparation of the management accounts and the preparation and submission of the VAT rturns. You will also be rsponsible for improving on the existing internal control procedures, creating and maintaining systems in order to have full control and information on the companies costs and you will be responsible to execute the budgeting process of the group companies under the direction of the Group Financial Controller. Additionally you will also assist in maintaining full cntrol on the companies cash flows and rolling forecasts, the preparation of ad hoc reports as requested by the Group Financial Controller and you will manage the accounts team in order to achieve the above targets.

You will need to be a qualified ccountant holding a relevant University Degree or be qualified through ACCA. Candidates in the final stages of ACCA would also be considered. You will need to have around 2-3 years working experience in a similar role.

Trainee Accountant

The Trainee Accountant will assist in the preparation of monthly, qurterly, and yearly group financial statements in accordance with US GAP. You will need to be a contact person to the accountants of affiliated companies, liaise clsely with the corporate accountant team on all matters regarding reporting, be a contact person to internal and external auditors and be a key user of the group consolidation software.

You will need to be in the process f obtaining an accreditation from an accounting professional body on a part time basis such as ACCA. You will need to have knowledge of IFRS whilst knowledge of US GAAP would be considered an asset. You will also need to have at least two years work experience in finncial accounting, preferably within an intrnational company or an audit firm. You will need to be computer literate with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel. This role may require the chosen individual to travel from time to time for training.

Business Analyst

Our client, one of the world’s leading international organisations of independently owned and managed accounting and consulting firms, is looking for a Business Analyst to join their team.

In this role you will be responsible to interface extensively with internal teams and external stakeholders with the principal aim to translate technical requirements into functional deliverables. You will be communicating extensively with clients and with developers. The candidate will be required to fragment requirements into specific tasks and will subsequently liaise with the teams on projects updates and required amendments. In addition, you will participate in business and software processes documentation in line with respective requirements.

In order to be successful, you will possess an IT related degree with at least 2-3 years experience in a similar position. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a demonstrated solution oriented and analytical aptitude. Knowledge of Business Intelligence, Business Analytics and CRM is essential.

Financial Accountant

Reporting directly to the head of the accounting department, this role will include responsibility for the preparation f Trust and Company financial statements and management accounts. You will be responsible for the maintaining of the general ledger and the preparation of the mnagement accounts, you will assist with the preparation of the annual financial statements, assist with cash management and company administration.

For this role you would need to either need to have a relevant University Degree or else be fully qualified through ACCA. Individuals in their final stages of ACCA would also be considered. You will also need to have two years similar working experience.

HR Manager

Reporting to the General Manager, as an HR Manager you will b responsible for the HR function for the company. You will handle the recruitment and selection process, maintain and update policies and procedures and the employee handbook, training and monitor strategy for benefits and contractual obligations. Other duties will includ performance management, dealing with Mnagers with regards to KPIs and appraisals and creating initiatives for staff engagement and social and team building activities.

The successful cndidate will hold a tertiary level of Education coupled within a minimum of 3 years xperience working in a human resources function. You should be a self starter and work on your initiative, with strong commercial acumen and be proactive in driving the company’s HR strategy. You will be driven, meticulous and analytical and demonstrate strong problem solving abilities and strong communication skills.

First Line Client Support Officer

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be technically proficient. Fluency in English is a must. Preferred candidates will be highly organized, meticulous and motivated. Previous technical customer support experience and knowledge of additional languages would be advantageous.
